To help fans understand just what a typical day in the life of a pop star is like, we are going to share with you the daily schedule of one of the industry’s fastest rising talents from Marbella, Spain, Wendy Halo.
Understand that, while typical for Wendy, every musician is different and every type of industry performer has a different schedule. With that being said, let’s get started:
A Day In The Life Of A Pop Star
Social Media- the typical day begins with a quick look at the social media pages. Most performers have more than one social media page across many platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Posting on social media gives them an opportunity to engage with their fans as well as potential clients.
Email- speaking of potential clients, next up is to check email. With a cup of coffee or tea, most artists will begin reading through their emails. This is the business side of being a pop star and how many performers get information about upcoming gigs.
Practice- now that social media and email is covered, most performers will begin practice. Either with a live band, or pre-recorded tracks, the artist will work on her voice, getting the right sound for each song and finding new ways to inject more energy into their performance. Practicing new songs, old songs, original music and new musical techniques make today’s pop stars better prepared for their next performance.
The Gig- if they have a gig scheduled, they will get ready for the gig, show up early to make sure that everything is set up properly, then show off their musical talents and give it their all on stage.
